What is Medical MX?
An informational project that collects, organizes, and analyzes health information published in open sources in Mexico, presenting it with verifiable references: primary source, dates, and editorial responsibility.
Is Medical MX a health institution, a clinic, or a government agency?
No. It is not a government agency, a clinic, or a scientific institution, and it does not represent any. It is an independent informational project.
Where does the information come from?
From official, open sources: releases from public institutions, technical guidelines and standards, and published health statistics. Each source is documented in our Source registry.
How do you verify that a fact is correct?
We check every claim against its primary source and record the verification date. An editorially responsible person reviews the full material before publication. See Methodology.
What do "awaiting", "verified", and "approved" mean?
These are the editorial statuses of a registered source: awaiting (not yet fully verified), verified (checked against the primary source), and approved (authorized by the responsible person; the only status that gets published). See the Glossary.
Do you use AI to write the content?
Some organizational tasks may be assisted by automated tools, but no publication is issued without human review and approval. See the Editorial policy.
How do you correct an error if you find one?
Write to [email protected] with the link to the publication and the item in question. We correct the content and note the review date within the publication itself.
Does the site carry advertising or sponsorships?
Currently no. If that changes in the future, it will be clearly disclosed alongside the content.
What personal data do you collect?
Only what you choose to share voluntarily by emailing us or through the contact form. See the Privacy notice.
What languages is the site available in?
Spanish (primary), English, and Russian. The content is the same in all three languages.
Can I quote or share your publications?
Yes, for non-commercial purposes, crediting the source (Medical MX) and, where possible, linking to the original publication. See the Terms and conditions.
What should I do in a medical emergency?
This site is informational and does not handle emergencies. Contact your local emergency services immediately or go to the nearest emergency room.
